Sultan Pasha

Sultan Pasha is a London-based independent perfumer, and he grew up in Bangladesh and London. His love for perfume goes back to smelling his grandparents' collection of attars and also the wild flowers and plants in the surrounding countryside.

After academic chemistry studies, Sultan started working with perfume ingredients in 2012 and soon created his first attar perfume, Shadee.

Around this time, he became a collector and student of great French perfumes, particularly pre-1960s extraits from historic houses, which hugely influenced his artistic approach to making fragrances.

Sultan created a wide variety of attars over the next years, employing an alluring French, Middle Eastern and South Asian approach and by exploring his deepest emotions and memories. Slowly but surely, these creations become popular with perfume fans from around the world and he received positive reviews from Luca Turin and other well-known perfume reviewers.

Although Sultan's first love in perfumery is attars, he wanted to create spray perfumes to go alongside these, providing exciting complementary options. All along his journey, Sultan experimented with spray perfumes and later created well-known spray collaborations such as Zoologist's Sacred Scarab.

With Sultan Pasha Perfumes, Sultan is offering his first alcohol-based spray perfume collection. These have taken several years to complete as the high standards of his attars had to be equalled in this different format. These are new compositions although three are based on existing themes. Owners of these perfumes in attar form will be discovering new compositions with a shared inspiration.

We sincerely hope you love these new creations and that they become part of your story.
